Nigeria Music Awards 2008
The 2006 special edition of NMA was successfully held in London with full glamour, glitz and razzmatazz. The thrust behind the choice of London for the 2006 edition of NMA was informed by PMAN's quest to take the Nigerian music scene to the international arena and market place.
Encouragingly, the effort yielded superb dividends for both PMAN and the Nigeria artistes who struck marketing and recording deals after the event. The event also established PMAN as a strong brand in the Nigerian and international music and recording industry.
The 2008 edition of NMA is now around the corner. Once again, PMAN, the sole owners of the registered trademarks of both - NIGERIA MUSIC AWARD and NMA, in partnership with Afrique Entertainment Ltd, have concluded arrangements to give Nigerians the very best NMA ever to be held in Nigeria.
The 2008 NMA, which is billed for the first quarter of 2008 in Lagos at the ultra modern ThisDay Events Centre, Lekki, will showcase the very best of Nigerian based artistes as well as Nigerian artistes in Diaspora.
